NIKEiD is an online section of the NIKE label where customers can customise their own shoes clothes and gear. NIKE provides them with the styles that can be customised and the consumer can pick their own colours, prints, phrases and independent sizing for the shoes. The thing that makes NIKEiD successful is that all the options are given to the consumers so they don’t have to think of their own, but there aren’t too many options to get confused with. On the NIKEiD website they also display multiple options of inspiration pictures to start from if the consumer needs help starting their custom design. This could have been an effective tool to get people inspired to design their own product but because they have displayed so many options it removes the feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment of designing your own individual product because the design may already be featured on the website.
